Mary Anne appeared to me just as a school teacher - not immigrant of any kind or domestic servant. She carried herself as a lady. Was quiet/ smart and with great disdain for her husband

and son Donald. She was a real American - it might partially been my fold for her to evetually cursed me out, but what to do when faced with so much violence.
